We believe that true rest requires no surprises. In this section, you will find all the practical notes about your stay, from our daily routines and amenities to how we welcome your dogs and preserve the silence of the house. Everything you need to know, shared clearly and unhurriedly.
ARRIVAL & ACCESS
What time is check-in and check-out?
Check in begins at 4 pm and check out is between 9:30 and 11:00 am
If you arrive earlier or wish to leave later, we will always try to accommodate whenever possible — simply let us know in advance.
Is reception open 24 hours?
Reception available from 9:30 am to 8 pm

How do I enter the property?
If we are here, we will welcome you
If you arrive outside reception hours, you will receive a door access code before arrival to open the main entrance easily.
How do I get to Dream Guincho?
The easiest way is by car. Detailed directions and map coordinates are available on our website. If you prefer, we can arrange a chauffeur service from Lisbon Airport or organise private transport during your stay.
Is parking available?
Yes. Complimentary outside private parking is available on-site.
Electric vehicle charging is available upon request, with an additional cost.
FOOD & DRINKS
Is breakfast included?
Yes.
Breakfast is included in all rates and served fresh each morning between 8:30 and 11 am
Is afternoon tea included?
Yes. Every day at 5:00pm we serve tea and homemade cake in the living room — a small daily ritual we are very fond of.
Is dinner available at the hotel?
Yes, upon reservation and subject to availability.
With prior notice (until 4:00pm), we prepare a table d’hôte dinner served at 7:30pm.
It is worth planning ahead.
Is there a bar or a minibar in the room?
There is an Honesty Bar in the living room and cold drinks in the fridge near the kitchen.
If you take anything, simply note it on the expense sheet — it will be charged at check-out.
Can I bring outside food or drinks?
Food or drinks not acquired at Dream Guincho should not be consumed on the premises.
Is there room service?
Instead of traditional room service, meals are prepared and served in the house, a more personal way of receiving.
ROOMS & HOUSEKEEPING
What amenities are included in the rooms?
All rooms include air conditioning, Wi-Fi, television with entertainment and radio channels, books, a kettle and an espresso machine.
What bedding is provided?
Bedding is 100% cotton.
Pillows and duvets are feather-filled, with hypoallergenic options available upon request. Bath towels, bathrobes and pool towels are also 100% cotton.
What bathroom amenities are available?
You will find a hairdryer, soap, shower gel, shampoo, body cream, make-up removal kit and shower cap.
Additional toiletries are available upon request.
Is daily housekeeping provided?
Yes. Room cleaning takes place between 9:00am and 2:00pm.
If you prefer a specific time, please inform us.
Do rooms have balconies?
Yes. All rooms include private outdoor space with sea views.
Is there a safe in the room?
Safes are available upon request. We kindly ask that you let us know in advance.
WELL-BEING & FACILITIES
Is there a swimming pool?
Yes.
An outdoor pool, heated from May to October and available between 8:00am and 8:00pm.
Is there a sauna or jacuzzi?
Yes.
The sauna and outdoor jacuzzi are available during predefined hours.
Please inform the staff at least 30 minutes in advance if you wish to use them.
Is there a gym?
Yes.
A small gym with standard fitness equipment is available, along with space for yoga, chi kung or personal training sessions.
DOG FRIENDLY
Are dogs welcome?
Yes, and we mean it. We are genuinely dog-friendly and enjoy having them as part of the stay.
Is there a size limit?
We welcome small and medium-sized dogs.
Is there an additional fee?
Yes.

Can dogs access common areas and the garden?
Yes, provided they are accompanied and on a leash at all times.
Do you provide beds or bowls?
Yes. We provide beds, bowls and can assist with food arrangements if needed.
QUIET & HOUSE RULES
Is there a quiet time?
Yes. Quiet time is between 10:00pm and 10:00am, helping preserve the calm atmosphere of Dream Guincho.
Can non-resident guests visit?
To maintain the quiet ambience, non-resident guests are not allowed on the premises.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is permitted only outside the building (excluding room balconies).
Anything to remember when leaving the room?
Please remove the card by the door to ensure lights are turned off (note that plugs marked with an asterisk remain active for charging devices).
Kindly keep the door locked and take the key with you.
POLICIES & BOOKINGS
What is your reservation policy?
A credit card is required to guarantee your booking.
The full amount is charged at 00:01 on the 7th day prior to check-in.
Special conditions apply for stays longer than 9 nights.
Are all rates inclusive of breakfast and afternoon tea?
Yes. All rates include breakfast and daily tea & cake.
